· Matthew Lyons’ inspirational tumblr is definitely worth a look. There are tons of great photos here. After you’re done, check out his website and see how he turns all that inspiration into some crazy designs. So great!

· I’m super late to this, but I can’t get enough of the For the Love of Type blog.

· All of these DIY headboards are really cute. I love all the bright colors.

· Baptiste Debombourg made this incredible mural out of 3500 staples. Crazy!

· I can’t get enough of this girl’s style blog. She is gorgeous and has an amazing style. Plus, she likes great music and takes lovely photos.

· I love every logo in the examples of transparency in logo designs. So colorful and fun!

Kate Moss in holographic form at the end Alexander McQueen’s Fall/Winter 2006 show. I’ve never really been into the fashion world, but I always thought his designs were beautifully far-out in a very classic way. Sad times, RIP McQueen.

· This glass heart vase is beautiful. I love the colors and shape. Too bad the small version costs $500.

· How amazing is this house?! About this crazy lil’ home:

This enchanting house is located on an island called Elliðaey near Vestmannaeyjar, a small archipelago off the south coast of Iceland. The house was given to singer, Bjork from her motherland as a “Thank You” for putting Iceland on the international map.

· I definitely need these message-in-a-cookie cutters. They come with pre-made sayings and separate letters to create your own message.

· Ohh, man. These red velvet sandwich cookies are the perfect Valentine’s gift & way better than jewels (I love food). The site also has box templates for you to download & print.

· I found this portfolio of gradient mesh illustrations a few days ago and I am still amazed every time I look at them. Absolutely insane!

· I’m loving these creative tea packagings. There are so many great concepts here.

· I’ve been on a font kick lately and I found 65 professional free fonts to help add to my addiction.

· The colors of Andy Gilmore are gorgeous. These color sets have a great feeling and texture to them. Very inspiring for any design projects you have goin’ on.

· Ketee has a couple of new tutorials up that I can’t wait to try: The Digital Painting Process & Creating a Colorful Portrait w/Lighting Effects.

· Hotties from history. Learn all about hotties throughout history who were doin’ their own thing and doin’ it well.

· Pictaculous lets you upload an image & gives you a color palette that gives you colors that go well with it. A neat little tool to have.

· I’m thinking I like this pixel sofa. I can’t decide. What do you think of it?

· This piece of graffiti is amazing. I haven’t seen a style quite like this before.

· I really enjoy the Dirty Richmond style blog. There are some people with really great style on there.

· I came across this color identifying system for the color blind and think it is a great idea! It is a simple system that is designed very well.

· The art installation “Fuel” by Richard J. Evans is really nice. I like the first the best, but they are all good.

· The chalk walk makes me incredibly happy. It also make me super excited for summer!

· These historical tweets are pretty hilarious!

· I LOVE the inside of this home! It is owned by a graphic designer in Finland who also runs her own blog about renovating and designing her house. So cute.

· This set of Tarantino movie posters by Ibraheem Youssef are awesome. I may have linked to these before, but he just added some new ones which are really great. I love the Inglorious Basterds one.

· These chalk shadow tracings are really neat. I guess I have a thing for chalk this week :]

· These illustrations by Scott Balmer are so cute. They remind me of old children’s book illustrations. I especially love the Halloween series.

· Ross Berens’ poster series titled “Under the Milky Way” is incredible. Each poster features a planet (including Pluto) and they are so nice. Apparently prints are coming soon and I can’t wait!

· I love finding new fonts and 21 fonts that shouldn’t be free but are has some amazing ones up for grabs.

· The Multicolr Search Lab for Flickr is so neat. Click a color and it will give you a group of images that match. I love it!

· Over at Cargo Collective you can learn something new every day in a fun, colorful and illustrated way.

· A toaster that functions like a printer? Yes, please!

· I am loving the Montague Projects Blog. They have some amazing book covers and other designs over there.

· This set of vintage illustrations over at Flickr is so great. The style & colors are wonderful.

· This is an old post from DesignSponge about how to make a repeating pattern. If you haven’t seen it yet, ya need to because it is very useful!

· I am in love with every photo Cosmic-Dust’s tumblr. Some images may be nsfw, but that makes it even better! :]

· Over at The Hype Machine, they did a post on the top 50 bands of 2009 & had artists create a piece of work inspired by each band. There is some really amazing pieces over there.

· 40+ vintage posters to inspire your next designs color palette is definitely worth a look. There are some really great designs & color combos here.

· I think I’m late to this one, but these living pictures formed by thousands of U.S. soldiers are pretty darn impressive.

· Vivid colors in film posters is a rainbow of gorgeous design.

· I love these magazine spreads called “Flowers In December”. I love when shoes and accessories are grouped by color because it is so visually stunning.

· This Flickr set of vintage magazine clippings is so good. I love looking at old magazine ads.. they’re always so neat.

· Real Simple brings you 14 simple homemade gifts that seem really easy to make. That might come in handy if you’ve waited until the last minute like me.

· This gibberish rock song written by Adriano Celentano in 1972 is supposed to be what English sounds like to foreigners. Super interesting!

· These photos of various design offices are amazing! The Pixar offices look so cozy & I love all the pixelated imagery in the ILSE Media offices.

· Heydar Aliyev Centre. I think that this is one of the most gorgeous ideas for a concert hall EVER!

· If web services were vintage paperbacks is really neat. I like the Twitter & YouTube ones the best.

· Museo Slab has just been released & the 500/500 italic versions are free! I love this font so this really excites me.. haha :]

· I want this print by Laurie Lipton so bad! Someone is gonna be saving their Christmas money.

· I’m loving this DIY t-shirt necklace/scarf. So cute.

· These glass bottles to put your tap water in are so cute! I love the type treatment on them.. especially the “Tap Is Terrific” one.

I have been listening to these songs like crazy this week. I love looking up hip hop playlists on YouTube and listening to them while I work.

· I am so into Post Crossing. Create an account, get up to five random addresses & exchange postcards with people from all over the world! I sent postcards to Taiwan, UK, Finland, Germany & Michigan this week. I can’t wait to get some back!

· I am really loving the packaging for H&M tights. Lovely!

· Make Something Happy is a cute little blog run by two sisters that I found while looking around at holiday cards yesterday. The gals say this about their blog: “It’s about creating happiness in your life through creativity, crafting, cooking, exploring, and sharing. Join us on our happy journey!” Fun!

· An American self-portrait is an insane visual representation of all the trash we discard everyday.

· Doesn’t this bear sleeping bag look cozy?

· I know this is probably older than haaale, but how CSI works is hilarious! I’ve run into a couple of people that think you can do things like that with Photoshop.

· Which reminds me of one of my favorite entries from Clients From Hell.

“A lady asked me to scan in a photo of her dead husband in a fishing boat. Once that was done she asked me to use Photoshop to turn the man’s face so it was facing the camera.”

HAHA!

I think I watched this about ten times yesterday. My favorite part is around the two minute mark when the guy is dancing in front of the copier/printer. I could not stop laughing!
