Minjae Lee - Greno

I love these paintings by Minjae Lee (aka Greno), an artist based in South Korea. I think what makes these is the collage look combined with hand drawn details. I didn’t realize they were all paintings until I read more about them. Lovely work! It definitely motivates me to try out some hand drawn/collage styles in my designs at work.

You can download quite a few of his pieces in larger formats here at wallpaperart.org to use as your desktop background.

Holiday Gifts: Prints | 12.09.09

I love to support creative folks. Designers create and share amazing things with us all the time and it is nice to be able to give back. I think the best gifts are visually stunning pieces that you can display in some way and make you smile when you look at them. I’ve created a list of some of my favorite prints that you can purchase and give to someone ya love. These would look great in a distressed, cheap/thrifted frame hanging out in your home.

Check them all out after the jump.
