This Lupe Fiasco song came up on Pandora today and at first, I thought it was I Monster. While looking up the video, I found the original version and loved this little transformation taking place. It is so fun to see how people take and change things. I really love Lupe’s take on it and Jill Scott’s vocals are spot on. Enjoy this little musical evolution and share any others you know of.

Love it. I had forgotten all about this song until it popped up on a playlist at work yesterday.

I love spring.

On Saturday, Red Bull hosted a chariot race downtown. Everyone made their own chariots out of whatever they wanted. People had made everything from a modified shopping cart to a piece of plywood with kids roller skates on the bottom. haha. It was a lot of fun & I got some good photos.

I saw the cutest pup over the weekend & forgot to share the photo I took. So tiny!

Has anyone else seen this sneak peek of Photoshop CS5? A lot of people are saying it is an early April Fool’s joke, but who does a joke a week early? Only a true twerp would do that. There is a discussion going on at the graphic design livjournal community about these new features. One person brought up the following:

“once people become aware of this, there goes designer’s billable hours.”

I don’t necessarily agree with this. A lot of people couldn’t navigate their way through Photoshop to even get to these features. Sure, if they sat down and were determined to learn it they could.. but I don’t see that happening a lot. I think it looks like an amazing tool and I can’t wait to try it out!

What do you think? Does this hurt designers more than help them? Are you excited about the new features?
