What’s Goin’ On? | 02.10.10

I can’t quit eating these veggie pitas. Pita bread, tomato, cucumber, avocado, sprouts & ranch dressing. I’ve had this for lunch every day this week. Yum!

It is either raining or snowing every time I look outside. I am so ready for spring & summer!

Snow day self-portrait.

The moon was insane the other night. I tried to get a photo of it while Greg was driving and this was the best I could do. I think it turned out pretty neat, though.

Kiki is always eating.

· I’m thinking I like this pixel sofa. I can’t decide. What do you think of it?

· This piece of graffiti is amazing. I haven’t seen a style quite like this before.

· I really enjoy the Dirty Richmond style blog. There are some people with really great style on there.

· I came across this color identifying system for the color blind and think it is a great idea! It is a simple system that is designed very well.

· The art installation “Fuel” by Richard J. Evans is really nice. I like the first the best, but they are all good.

Have you come across any interesting links/photos/ideas that you are loving this week? If so, please share! :]

PIZZA TIME! | 02.04.10

My favorite pizza ever. Sauce, peas, corn & black beans. It sounds weird, but you have to try it! I didn’t have any black beans on hand this time, but it is just as good without them.

I just take a can of tomato sauce and add oregano, basil, pepper & salt instead of buying pre-made sauce.

Put your veggies on there.. I used frozen.

Put in the oven.

Tell your helper it will be about twenty minutes.

Slice that thing up & enjoy!

What are your favorite pizza toppings? Do you like any weird combinations?

Perfect Packaging #2 » DVD Case | 02.01.10

By Mark Geisser

From his portfolio:

Background:
Generally, when someone leaves my studio, has their birthday, has a baby, etc I “have” to do something for them… Sometimes it’s a t-shirt, sometimes a mixed-CD, sometimes just a card… As much as I’m not crazy about the obligation, I always end up doing something that I enjoy and that ultimately the recipient can enjoy…

Result:
This package, including 2 DVD’s and a card/poster, was for an account intern that was a lot of fun and a lot of laughs.. She enjoyed the same old/new British comedy series’ that I do, so I thought I’d make a couple of DVD’s with them on it…

Pizza Party | 01.26.10

My husband & I went out for pizza the other night and I really loved how these photos turned out. All the neon, weird lighting, fake plants and televisions made for some good atmosphere.

· These illustrations by Scott Balmer are so cute. They remind me of old children’s book illustrations. I especially love the Halloween series.

· Ross Berens’ poster series titled “Under the Milky Way” is incredible. Each poster features a planet (including Pluto) and they are so nice. Apparently prints are coming soon and I can’t wait!
