The Coup is one of my favorite hip-hop groups ever & this is definitely my favorite song of theirs. I’ve never heard a story told through song as well as this one is.

One day Boots came into the coffee shop I was working at. As you can imagine, I acted like a complete creepster. He was super nice & talked about some upcoming projects he was working on & I managed to get a photo with him.

The day I made a cappuccino for Boots Riley will always be one of the greatest days of my life. Haha.

· I was searching for fitness blogs the other day when I came across Rachel Wilkerson’s blog. I cannot get enough! I stayed up until 2am looking through all the old posts until I got too sleepy to go on.. and then I continued the next day. If you like hilarious people & health/fitness then you’ll love it too.

· David Kassan’s paintings are amazing.

· Subway Douchery is hilarious! Every photo is better than the last.

· Re-nest shows you how to make a wood pallet dining table. I love it!

· This custom return address stamp is gorgeous. I want one!

Mmm, mama.. this is good stuff! An extremely easy meal to make, plus it tastes so, so good. I originally found this in one of Sarah Kramer’s cookbooks, but I misplaced it somewhere during our move (surprise!). So, here is my memorized version which may be a lil’ different.

- Throw some pasta (I use rotini because they’re the cutest, of course) in a pot with boiling water.

- In a separate pot, heat up a can of tomato sauce. I use the tiny cans.. but however much you want is up to you.

- Once the tomato sauce warms up, add a tablespoon of peanut butter & however much chili garlic sauce you’d like. I only use a teaspoon because I’m a weenie. This is the brand I buy. It’s really good, but you don’t need much!

- Mix together until creamy smooth.

- Add your kale & mix it around the sauce. Don’t be scared to add a ton of kale (or spinach!) because it shrinks like crazy.

- Once your sauce is ready to go, just pour over the noodles & toss around. SO GOOD!

I think you can tell a lot about someone by the shoes they wear. That’s me & my sister and we couldn’t be more different, obviously. :]

We finally moved out of our crappy old apartment.

Pep was totally ready to get out of that shithole!

We borrowed my mom’s truck to move & found crushed packs of salem ultra lights, a piece of wood & a ski mask in the back.

My sister didn’t help because she just got her nails done.

Greg made sure his computers were nice & safe.

We moved to a house that had pretty flowers. I was worried that I wouldn’t know how to take care of them properly & they would die. Well, I didn’t have to worry about that because I cut them down with my first attempt at weedeating. Sorry pretty flowers!

We have no furniture, so we made a kitchen table out of a cork board and boxes.

Good times!

Yep, still alive. We wound up buying a house and I packed away my camera, charger & cord in the moving process and can’t seem to find it now. Smooth, huh? There are still tons of boxes left to unpack and every day I say I will get started on that, but instead I go sit out on the deck with Peppers, have a drink (Capri Sun or beer haha) & enjoy the weather. Much nicer, I think.
