Weekly Love #9 | 02.12.10

Kate Moss in holographic form at the end Alexander McQueen’s Fall/Winter 2006 show. I’ve never really been into the fashion world, but I always thought his designs were beautifully far-out in a very classic way. Sad times, RIP McQueen.

· This glass heart vase is beautiful. I love the colors and shape. Too bad the small version costs $500.

· How amazing is this house?! About this crazy lil’ home:

This enchanting house is located on an island called Elliðaey near Vestmannaeyjar, a small archipelago off the south coast of Iceland. The house was given to singer, Bjork from her motherland as a “Thank You” for putting Iceland on the international map.

· I definitely need these message-in-a-cookie cutters. They come with pre-made sayings and separate letters to create your own message.

· Ohh, man. These red velvet sandwich cookies are the perfect Valentine’s gift & way better than jewels (I love food). The site also has box templates for you to download & print.

· I found this portfolio of gradient mesh illustrations a few days ago and I am still amazed every time I look at them. Absolutely insane!

· I’m loving these creative tea packagings. There are so many great concepts here.

· I’ve been on a font kick lately and I found 65 professional free fonts to help add to my addiction.

· The colors of Andy Gilmore are gorgeous. These color sets have a great feeling and texture to them. Very inspiring for any design projects you have goin’ on.

· Ketee has a couple of new tutorials up that I can’t wait to try: The Digital Painting Process & Creating a Colorful Portrait w/Lighting Effects.

· Hotties from history. Learn all about hotties throughout history who were doin’ their own thing and doin’ it well.

· Pictaculous lets you upload an image & gives you a color palette that gives you colors that go well with it. A neat little tool to have.

Bjork performs live while Alexander McQueen’s work walks the runway.

I Want My MTV commerical. MTV dropped “music television” from its logo earlier this week. Sad day, huh?
